Seems like selective data, aka propaganda. Is the long waiting time typical for all medical problems in all countries, or just for prostate cancer in Canada?
We already have a form of socialized medicine. It’s called Medicare. It has many faults, including not paying providers enough, not covering drugs, having deductibles, but one problem it does not have is waiting times.
The problem with socialized medicine is not waiting times. The problem is deficit phobia. If the goal is to cover more people better, there absolutely, positively will have to be federal deficit spending.
Cure deficit phobia and you cure the health care coverage problem, but deficit phobia is a disease that is pandemic and hard to cure. It has caused every depression and every recession.
