POTUS Approval drops to 45%

The latest Rasmussen Reports poll shows President Obama’s approval rating hitting a new low: 45%.  Additionally, the “Approval Index”, which is the Strongly Approve number minus the Strongly Disapprove number is at -11%.

Obama remains in a free fall

To mark this continuing decline, Aaron Gardner make a short video:

Heh.  I like the teleprompter hat.

UPDATE: Gallup has his approval rating at a dismal 42%.  Perhaps people are waking up.

  1. I posted an article showing BHO and GWB polling along the same track at the same times of their presidencies back in March. And anyone who does any research or has any honesty knows BHO has the media in his pocket while GWB had to fight the media.

Just a couple days ago, I noted BHO and his back-pocket media have separated themselves from GWB and his back-biting media… by taking a more southerly track in the polls.

    Food for thought.

  2. Thanks for pimping my video Rob. Just added you to my google reader.

  3. @Aaron: any time, brother. I enjoyed it and a lot of others saw your work through my blog. Even my wife and kids liked it.

    Keep up the good work!

  4. I just with the other dozen or so other polling organizations out there would stop driving up the RCP average like they are! We all know the truth!

It’s no wonder that only Scott Rasmussen’s polling firm was trusted enough by the Bush campaign in 2003 & 2004 be hired by the Campaign and the RNC for their internals…

  5. Nice snide sarcasm, but do your homework, mort, Rasmussen gets it more correct during the elections than anyone else.
